I’ve been listening to a pretty large amount of Childish Gambino the past few days and I’d totally forgotten how much I like this video. I think a lot of rappers tend to have videos that are a little OTT as if they feel it should make a bigger statement than their music or whatever but the simplicity of this just puts all the focus on Donald Glover and his talent.Granted, the fact it’s one shot and it’s moving, make this not so simple from a cinematography perspective, but still conceptually a very raw, minimal video that I really like
